I do not know of any that are for slae.

If I did, I couldn't tell you "there" prices.

The obvious thing would be to go to a comic website!

EC's "tales from the crypt" and "vault of horror"  and there other horror titles Have been reprinted.  It's a nice  hardback set that's pretty big. I think the Crypt set is about 6 books and they come  together in a slipcase.  Plus they contain both the Pre-code and post code stories.
Those sets, were some of the bigger ones and retailed for a little over $100. That's the good news

The bad news is, these sets came out years ago,  I wanna say 20 years ago, but that maybe off.  I don't know how many were made, but it's going to be hard to find them.  It was one of those big tickets items that were either sold right away or set on the shelves for years.   i've seen a few of the least popular EC series still on the shelves, but not the popular ones like Crypt, horror, Weird science, Mad.

Your best bet is probably E-bay I'd suspect there are still some dealers on there trying to get rid of them.  other than that your best bet is to search every comic book store in your state for them,

As for Dark Horse "aliens vs predator" i don't think they've reprinted a trade in that. There might be a trade for the Claremont written "A vs P" but personally i'd avoid that. The original run, vol 1 i guess, will probably be the most expensive. but it's also the best. I think it's 5 issues, inc luding a #0 issue.  I have no idea what that might retail for.  A few of the other "A vs P" series are good but my interest wained after the 12 issue steaming pile that Chris Claremont wrote, i wanna say it was "deadliest of species" but i might be wrong.  You might be able to find some of the other volumes really cheap, because it seems like that killed everyone else's interest too.  The volume 1 was just called "Aliens vs Predator" and came in circa 1990.  So if there's a Trade paperback good luck. For some reason i think vol 2 was the same title. besides "deadliest of species" the other title I recall is "beserker"

hope that helps

Check out the EC Comics web site www.eccrypt.com.  They have nearly all back issues of "Tales from the Crypt", "Haunt of Fear" and "Vault of Horror" available, plus several other of their 1950's titles.  They also have the hardback collections of those titles in 5 volumes for $20 each or the whole set for $110.

Tales from the Crypt is available in massive hardcover collections.  As for The Thing and AvP, I'd say your best bet is to try your luck with the 25-cent bin at your local comic shop, as that's where most of the good stuff from Dark Horse's hey-day end up sooner or later.
