Title: I Bury the Living (1958)
Post by: Scott on March 17, 2004, 09:05:29 PM
I BURY THE LIVING (1958)This is a unique film idea that could also have fit in as a episode of the Twilight Zone. Richard Boone unintentioally kills people as he takes over a cemetary job. He has to use pins on a map to keep track of those who are buried and those who have space reserved. A little twist at the end of this neat little b/w film. Actually I thought Lon Chaney Jr. might be good in the lead role and maybe some zombies, but this film is good on its own. Over all I liked this one.

Oh, yes.Something of a forgotten classic. Proof that Richard Boone was a better actor, then he is usually credited with being.

I got a kick out of this one. I probably wouldn't have even seen it if I hadn't gotten it on a tape with The Killer Shrews. Definitely a lucky find.
