Title: Project Viper on SciFi
Post by: trekgeezer on March 18, 2004, 01:36:02 PM
Has then been on before?  Another tale of a  military experiment gone wrong and eating the locals..

It does however have Tim Thomerson as the local sheriff , so it has B movie written all over it.

This Saturday at  8:00 central on the ScFi channel .

Isn't Silent Predators on this Saturday at 9?

I have no idea...

But Project V.I.P.E.R., which is Jim Wynorski's more high budgeted but more direct b movies, it does also feature Bill Monroe, Patrick Muldoon, and also Lorissa McComas as a cameo.

Yes, it's been on before. Seemed like a Blob ripoff to me.

What's funny is that Project Viper is being run as part of their Snake Movie Marathon even though the only thing it has to do with snakes is the word "Viper" in the title.

I was in heaven yesterday watching all those terrible snake movies.  Python, Phthon 2, Boa - the VCR was recording nonstop from dawn till dusk.  Viper actually seemed pretty good in comparison.

"Viper actually seemed pretty good in comparison."

And the irony was that it didn't have any snakes in it.
