I can't even begin to imagine how many tons of candy I've eaten since I was a boy.
I was curious...what's your all time favorite candy?
Is it a candy bar or is it something other than that?
I guess it could be divided into 2 categories....candy bars and regular confections.
I would have to say that my all time favorite candy bar is a toss-up between Snicker's Cruncher and Caramello.
Regular Nestle's Crunch runs a close 3rd.
My only complaint with Nestle's Crunch is that the chocolate can be a bit bland.
They need to make those things a little more rich in flavor.
I sometimes let all the chocolate from a Nestle's dissolve in my mouth until there's nothing but a bunch of rice left then I chomp it up. I'll bet that a few of you have done that as well right?
Hehe!
Same thing with Twix.
It MUST be peanut butter Twix and I try to scrape al the chocolate and peanut butter off with my teeth until it's nothing but the cookie.
I'll tell you what, those cookies that they use in Twix are kickass!
If they made boxes of just those long thin cookies with no chocolate or anything else on 'em...just plain, I'd definitely buy them.
They sort of taste like those cookies for babies....what're they called?
Zweiback cookies, that's it! They taste like those.
Or they also taste like those round baby cookies that have a hole in the center and are flower shaped....know what I'm talking about?
I think Gerber makes them.
Good s**t! Yum!
Those big Wonka chocolate bars with the graham cracker bits embedded inside them are tasty too!
Most everything made by Wonka is pretty good in my opinion.
Nerds rule!
Just don't eat them right after you've brushed your teeth....yuck!
I would have to say that my favorite non-candy bar type candy would most definitely be anything Gummy.
Gummy bears, worms or aliens....I don't care which...they're all awesome.
The Black Forest brand of these seems to be the overall best.
They're not too soft and not super chewy....they're just right.
I also always hold them up to the screen at the movie theater to determine their color and the white ones are my favorite!
I have to be careful how many of those I eat though...they're LOADED with sugar and after eating about 50 of them, I'm wired to the max!
Lately at the movie theater I'll take my pocket knife and a block of cojack or sharp cheddar cheese...its cheap and definitely healthier.
I refuse to pay the insane prices they charge in the theater lobbies.
What's your favorite candy and do you have any bizarre ways that you eat certain kinds like I do?

MMMMmm..candy.
Lets see..Junior Mints..Fastbreak..Reeses peanut butter cup..Midnight Milky Way...Heath bar..Farleys Gummi Worms..Farleys Cinnamon discs..Farleys Orange slices...Hersheys chocolate...Peppermint Patties..Jolly Ranchers.
Gummy orange slices, Reese's peanut-butter anything but FastBreak (those suck), I'm going to spell this wrong, but those Ferro Roche chocolate hazelnut things, and just good ol' fashioned plain milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is icky. Too bitter. Oh, and I'm one of about 3 people in the world who like circus peanuts.

I like most anything that isn't chocolate. But my favorite is Bit O' Honey.
Hershey's with almonds. You bite into that creamy milk chocolate, and then just when you thought it couldn't get any better, an almond! Oh man, there's no words to describe it.
I also like Heath bars, with the hard carmel stuff inside. And Snickers bars from the refrigerator.
Hershey's with almonds are alright....I just don't like when the almonds bits get stuck in my teeth....they do everytime!
I've also noticed that Hershey's chocolate seems to be liked primarily by Americans.
People that I talk to in other countries such as Australia and the U.K. hate the taste of it...I'm sure that some DO like it but I have yet to meet one who does.
They were all raised on Cadbury which is excellent tasting chocolate. It's a bit milder.
Good stuff!
Baby Ruth, baby! And for a really special treat Hersheys Special Dark Chocolate!
Mmmmmm, circus peanuts.
Those circus peanuts are damn tasty. Chocolate oranges kick ass. But I'd have to say my all time favorite is Butterfinger. MMMMMMM
What is the difference between circus peanuts and regular peanuts?
I like Butterfinger but that orange stuff stick in my teeth!
Circus Peanuts are made up of sugar..they are orange in color and very sweet.
They're kinda fluffy and nougatey, and the only resemblance they bear to real peanuts is the mold the fluff is poured into is shaped like a peanut. I have no idea why they did it, but they did, and it's tasty.

Oh those things....YUCK!!!
I've hated them since I was a kid.....they're NASTY!
Blech!
I'm not sure I want to know what they're made from, sugar, chemicals, soylent green. They're just yummy. Orange is my favorite.
I loved Twix/Peanut Butter Twix. My other favorite is reeses peanut butter cups. But's been a while since I've eaten a normal twix. MMMM peanut butter.
Orange is your favorite? Isn't that the only option anyway?
Brother R
Ting Ting. they are these chewy ginger things you get in chinatown
Usually, but I have seen yellow (lemon) and green (lime) ones.
Candy bars:
Definitely Kit-Kat. I also like original Twix, Butterfinger, Zagnut, Reese's Nutrageous, Nestle's Crunch and that one I can't remember the name of, but it was really thick, divided into little blocks along the length of it, each one had a half-circle design on it and it had tiny air bubbles inside so it was kind of like having a Nestle's Crunch.
Other candy:
I like a variety, but there was one thing I had a few times that was great; it was a pointed lollipop type thing with three different, transparent sections, red, yellow and green. It came wrapped in a stiff plastic cone, with wax on the bottom sealing it shut and stores usually had them in a box neat the register, upside with the point of the cones fitting into holes in the box, so that the stick was up. Anyone know what these are called and/or where to get them?
Other stuff; Starbust, Sweettarts, Neco Wafers, Lifesavers (original, haven't tried all the new things they've come out with), sourballs (like lollipops, only as a stick-less hard candy), those round lollipops with the odd-ball flavores like root-beer and pineapple (Dum-Dums, I think), Tootsie Rolls, Strawberry Twizzlers, Liquorish (I know I spelled that wrong, and only if it's by the same company as Twizzlers).
Dum Dums are usually really tasty. They have, however, perfected chemical warfare as a candy. I don't think they make them anymore, and for good reason, but a few years back, Dum Dum made a buttered popcorn flavor. I tried one, and I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say the stomach-churning taste of that candied walrus scrotum stayed in my mouth for the rest of the day, no matter how much other stuff I ate or drank.

white chocolate reeses cup
Heath bar - no question. I suck off the chocolate and save the toffee for last because i'm a freak. I rarely ever eat one but I love them.
As a kid I loved gum Hubba Bubba is no longer made, but Felix (the cat) was my favorite (from asia) and it's not sold anywhere here..i don't know that it ever was. Recently my brother suprised me with some, his wife bought some from someone who will ship international. It's STILL as good as I remember, you never forget tha smell or taste. What's so great about it is that little piece (actually one piece has 2 halves and one of those halves is all you need) will go a long way. By long I mean it chews AL DAY without ever getting hard..stays soft and smooth. it probably has whale blubber or latex in it but it retains it's flavor for ever..and ever. It's the kind of gum you could literally put on a gum plate overnite and continue chewing the next day.
i got one piece left and i'm gonna have to find out what site they ordered it from. I noticed gums these days get hard fast and lose flavor, I think they do that so you keep chewing up more and have to buy more. Because I know for a fact they can make longer lasting gum, but they get no profit from it.
Livesavers used to make a mean sucker with the hole in the middle you could stick your tongue through..it had swirls. They changed the look tho, and the taste.
I also like snickers put in the freezer, i can never eat it room temperature anymore.
What do I dispise: FUN SIZE and those god awful little bite size pieces they make of every candybar. What the hell are so fun about midget bars? It's more chocolate than filling and never tastes as good as the bar. Plus you pay way too much for one of those little bags when you could buy a handful of candybars for the same.
Definitely the candy I could get down the street at my local Dairy Mart. Bottle Caps, Candy Necklaces, Pop Rocks, Ring Pops, 3 Musketeers, Whatchamacallit, Rolos, and chocolate coins. I have in mind to buy some soon and relive my childhood.

Hey ASHTHECAT, I'm from Australia & I luv Hershey's chocolate!!! (along with any other brand).
And Susan, Hubba Bubba is still made here, or at least it's still available here - not sure where it's made.
Circus Penis
do they still make freshen-up gum? I remember it having that gooey center
