Title: Speaking of the new Dawn...
Post by: Grimsnipe on March 23, 2004, 11:19:36 PM

Can anyone tell me off-hand he did that slower, weird (but strangely hiliarious) remake of "Down With the Sickness" they play in the middle of the film?  I know Disturbed does the original one that they play at the end credits, did they do they remix as well?

Something "Lounge" something or another.  Tried to catch the name during the credits but it went much too fast.

Fantastic version though.  Loved every second of it.

Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine.  It's on the album called Tuxicity.

Damn, Brother R beat me to it. Richard Cheese is hilarious; his versions of "Rape Me" by Nirvana and "Creep" by Radiohead are amazing. I definitely recommend both his albums (and am looking forward to his new one, I'd Like A Virgin).

Actually I find his gimmick to be violently unfunny, so I'm sorry I stole your thunder, Vermin Boy.  I'll let you talk about Dick Cheese from now on.

Heh...10 years ago there was a group called Black Velvet Flag that did lounge versions of punk rock songs....funny to see someone else doing similar stuff.
