Needless to say, it rocks!
A terrorist threatens Mars with a bio-wepon,and the Bopers have to stop him. Simple plot, but the execution...ah, the execution.....
Why, the music alone....in Bebop, the music is never "Incedental".
Did i mention it rocks?
I agree. I loved that movie. I bought it as soon as it came out on DVD. My favorite part is at the climax, the "air show."
Sorry, but having seen several episodes of this series, I just can't understand why so many people adores it. Sure, there is some flashy "camerawork", the animation looks great, but nothing seems to have much sense. Can anybody tell me why it is so popular? I am not being sarcastic, really, it is just that I feel I'm missing something.
Well, a lot of Anime "Makes no sense." Part of the style over substance habit inherant in the genre.
That, and some Japanese cultural traits don't quite translate. In Spanish or English.
I guess its popularity is from the "Attitude" it exudes. "Space noir", i call it, and the music becomes part of its strength.
Other then that...well, works for me.
