TVLand is running Green Acres all weekend, and AMC is having a Stooges marathon on Saturday (supposedly uninterrupted and unedited).
Green Acres has always been one my favorites. I love the premise, the outsider is the only normal person in an insane town, so therefore becomes the oddball. I loved the patriotic music that plays whenever Eddie Albert starts his the American Farmer speech. The others in the scene can hear the music too and comment about it. They also occasionally see the credits fly by.
Moe, Larry, and Curly along with Eintstein were the greatest minds of the 20th century .
There's Also a Most Extreme Elimination Challenge Marathon On SpikeTV April Fool's starting at 9am.
Always loved GREEN ACRES. Not sure why but I have this desire to watch more of PETTICOAT JUNCTION.
