Hi Everyone:
I saw a movie a couple of years ago but never got the title of it.I only saw one scene of this movie and would like to see the rest of it.Here is the scene:There is two big black Doberman's and they seem to be holding a group of people hostage???I think that one of the characters was sitting down in a chair but I am not to sure??This movie looked kinda like it was made either in the 70's or 80's.
Does anyone know what movie this might be????????????
Kevin E.
IIRC, there was a scene like this in "Dogs" (aka "Slaughter"), a 1976 B-movie about how a bunch of dogs in a town turned into killers and worked together. The main character in the movie is a biology professor at a small university.
Overall, this movie does have a very '70's feel.
Could this be it?
Try 1972's "The Doberman Gang," about some bank robbers who train dobermans to rob banks. That might be it.
Seemed to be a bunch of these in the 70s and early 80s....I remember another one called ROTTWEILER.
Or maybe some of the evil dog flicks like DEVIL DOG, HOUND OF HELL or DRACULA'S DOG.

I remember "Devil Dog, Houng of Hell" being a German Shepard. Was there possessed Dobermans in it, too? (I've only seen it once, and it was MANY years ago).
The Bite/Monster Dog? Starring Alice Cooper of all people!
Nah, you're right about DEVIL DOG being a German Shepherd...my mistake.
I'm 99% sure the movie you are thinking of is TO KILL A CLOWN with Alan Alda. He plays a Nam vet who terrorizes a couple of summer renters on his private island. In the film, he has two vicious Dobermans that come into play at various points.
dobermurderers...? ok i made it up sorry..;)
