Give me some good bands to lsiten to, no Metal
Hmmmm, I believe this could be one of those posters Ash was talking about.
Oh wait, he did use a capital letter. Maybe not.

I'm with ya AndyC.
On a more serious note, you should listen to Tool (my guess is you already know them) and A Perfect Circle. I'm also a fan of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani (and perhaps Stevie Ray Vaughan but he's pretty bluesy. You stated you liked Eric Clapton so my guess is you will LOVE srv)

I got to see Stevie Ray in one of his last concerts in Dallas. It was an outdoor concert and it started to rain. He just kept on jamming. After it was over I left without my shoes..they were stuck in deep mud.
now i understand what ash was talking about. iam pretty new around here so i didnt really know what he was talking about. i do now. have u every tryed listening to japanese rock music. it actually pretty good even if u dont understand it.
"Dont be a fool for ur tool"
I agreee on Tool.
I got to see them in concert a few years ago and it was without a doubt one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I wasn't a real big fan of Tool before that show but after....oh yeah!
Maybe it's a good thing they are quitting. I mean, how can one surpass Lateralus or Aenima...... Other albums would just be a let-down.
You should try A Perfect Circle, it has some Tool members and 1 ex marilyn manson member too.
My favorite stuff would be early Pat Benatar, the first few albums by The Cars, pretty much any hair-metal from the '80s and early '90s like Dokken, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, etc. And of course Van Halen (with David Lee Roth). I also like pop and new wave music from the '80s like the Go-Go's, John Cougar, all that stuff. And metal - anything Ozzy but especially stuff from the 1980 - 95 period, early Metallica (they didn't suck at that time), Dio, etc. Then there's Pink Floyd, and all the classic stuff - Hendrix, Zeppelin, Sabbath.
Thats all good music Mr. Hockstatter. Keep on Rosking.
