My wife hates it but every time Tremors (the original)is on I end up watching some or all of it . I don't know what it is about the movie, I guess they just did it right. It's sort of like the great episodes of Star Trek, you can watch a thousand times and it's still good.
There are actually a few more like this for me, but this should be enough to get a discussion starfed.
Star Wars (the original) and The Blues Brothers come to mind. Usually they'll be on USA or some such basic cable channel, and horribly chopped up but I'll still watch 'em.
Trek Geezer you have some of the same taste as myself in films.
Tremors is one of my favorite films that I watch when they come on and the original Star Trek with Captain Kirk (can't watch any of the new versions).
Raj, that is a yes to Blues Brothers and sometimes the first Star Wars.
Others that I like to watch over again are:
Emperor of the North (not shown that much)
Stripes (love this film, alway have)
Grease (don't ask me why, but I usually watch a good 15 minutes everytime it's on.
Once Upon a Time in the West
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Fistfull of Dynamite
The Magnificient Seven
Honestly though I try to see only films that I have yet to see.
I also end up watching Tremors (and the sequels) whenever they're on. Also, The Terminator, Terminator II and a few more...
"Beastmaster"
Sadly.....I seem to always watch "One Of The Guys". If you haven't seen this, it's about a girl who pretends to be a guy because her "newspaper article" isn't published and she believes it is because of her sex. Hayhem ensues.

On an equally sad note, I can't seem to stop watching "Josie and the p***ycats" (the movie, not the cartoon). I don't consider it to be especially good, or laughably bad; I just can't stop myself from turning it on when I see it listed, and I can't stop watching it until it's over. On a side note, has anyone else noticed the resemblance between Josie (Rachel Lee Cook) and the lead singer character from the Final Fantasy commercials?
A christmas story and when I was younger I'd always watch any "Ernest" movie that came on, but I haven't seen them on t.v. in years. Little Shop of Horrors (80's) and the few times a Godzilla movie is on t.v.
I always (ALWAYS) see brazil when it's on. It's just really great.
I also love Tremors :) it's an unpretentious film which is just entertaining from beginning to end, no annoying characters at all (no annoying hillbillies??!!) and it's just fun!
I hardly ever watch television, except for sports and documentaries or other special programming. I never watch movies on TV, so I don't really need to watch anything every time it is on.
However, when I was a kid, I used to watch the following movies every time they were on:
* WAR OF THE WORLDS
* JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH
* THE RELUCTANT ASTRONAUT
* THE SHAKIEST GUN IN THE WEST
* THE BIRDS
* THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (Charles Laughton version)
* FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLFMAN
* THEM
* THE BLOB (Steve McQueen version)
* WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE
fatal attraction
Conan
" back to the future" first part, i love this movie, and i dont mind to watch it whenever its on tv, and that means that its quite often. and grease, i dont know why, but i do, i coud tell the whole script, i must be masoch because i find it pretty stupid.
Pretty much any Arnold Schwarzenegger movie
Jaws (first one ONLY)
Pretty much anything Jackie Chan, Samo Hung, or Bruce Lee
Pretty much anything with Christopher Walken
Grease pulls me in (i love musicals, Grease being a top one for me)
Blues Brothers, i keep expecting the cut parts. Film is 2 1/2 hrs long on the dvd)
Die Hard keeps catchign me
and I own all of those too
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD for me. It's funny how bad the quality is when I see it on television, though..it looks like those budget VHS tapes.
....of course I don't have cable anymore so nothing is ever on.
