I have to admit, I am not a big fan of all zombie movies. I am much more into werewolfs and slashers and Jack Frosts and of course Vampires. However the ones I like, I love (Night OTL Dead, Evil Dead, Return of the Living Dead). Well my favorite of all time is for sure, the re make of the Dawn of the Dead. While looking to pre order, a big ad came up claimning to list the greatest 23 zombie films ever made. I wanted to see your opinion on this list and let me know which ones are worth picking up. Also notice that 28 Days Later did NOT make the list, maybe because it is new, but most likely because it sucked a lot.

i have to disagree with resident evil. ive seen it and well it puzzles me why its on the list. its far from being in the hall of fame of zombie movies. if anything evan if your fan of resident evil like myself rent then but if you never played it dont bother with it. hope the 2 one is better.
"I know I know ive been exposed permeant psychoses..
at least the colors are nice"- Aeon Flux
-The House By The Cemetery its good to get alseep, really boring.
-resident evil its no that bad, its worth it if u want to have a good time, its just a nice entertaiment.
-day of the dead its in my opinion one of the best zombie movies.
well, in fact, almost all the films on your list are ok, not great movies but worth seeing them, anyway, i loved 28 days later, maybe because i have been too many times in london and i got really impressed to watch at the movie the state of the city at the begin of the film.
This list is total BS. It was obviously written by someone who's not a zombie movie fan... and who wrote down the first zombie movies that popped into his head.
"Children of the Living Dead" is a horrible, boring, ridiculous movie. How did that place 3rd?
...even if the list isn't numbered in any specific order, COTLD shouldn't have even made the list at all.
And "House of the Dead"? Give me a break! The only thing that movie was the "greatest" at was wasting my time. It's the most comically drawn out, poorly directed piece of garbage "horror film" I've ever seen.
I could go on, but really there isn't any need. This list isn't worth looking at. You'd do better to go to amazon.com or imdb.com, type in your favorite zombie movie title, then follow the link that says "customers who bought this also bought the following."
I am a little aghast that "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" and "Night of the Creeps" are missing, but hey - as was said - somebody just sort of threw that list together.
the list its no that bad, ok, some films on it are really crap, but it also includes some of the most important films of the genre. then maybe what would u recomend??? maybe "premutos"? or "zombie3" the most ridiculous film i evern seen, perhaps...... "the oasis" of zombie"??? or "zombie lake"?.
pauli: "then maybe what would u recomend???"
I'd simply recommend shortening the list from 23 to say, 15 or possibly 10. There's no need for the list to be so long and contain such pathetic titles.
Well as I said, I have yet to see most of these movies. In any case I am just shocked that this is the list Amazon would reccomend to me. Are any of these movies worth seeing then besides obviously the more famous ones?
House of the Dead and Resident Evil...WTF?!
Beyond wasn't even really that much of a zombie flick. Just the ending with human looking zombies and that's it. I really don't consider he Evil DEad series zombie flicks, it's mroe like possessed demon stuff. And no Dellamorte/Cemetery Man?
House by the Cemetery, like a lot of Fulci films, was pretty dull excpet for the gore parts. Is it just me or is following a Fulci film's story like standing on an oil spill?
