Has anyone ever seen a movie called "The Bite"? I saw a trailer for it. It seems to be a hideously bad 80s film about a snake which, when it bites you, makes your body start transforming into a snake. There was an hilarious shot of a man with a snake for an arm! This film sounds fabulous and i want to see it but can't find anything about it on the internet.
Sounds a lot like Sssssssss! from 1973.

actually sounds like Curse II the Bite. I saw it around 1998 on Big Chuck and Lil' John (horror host type shpw where they do skits between commercial breaks.) And yes the movie did totally reek of heinosity

The long-awaited DVD release of Sssssss is coming soon! I had it on VHS, but I sold it on Ebay.
Speaking of snake movies does anyone know the name of the film where a woman was locked in a room with a deadly snake? It was an attempt to get back at her or something, by an ex maybe, I don't remember. I do recall some suspensful scenes with the snake leaping about.
Anyone see the trailer for the next anaconda movie? hmm
Susan.
Yeah I have, I was surprised that Anaconda was getting a sequel but I bet you could just call it "Curse of the Blood Ruby" (I don't think that's the exact second part of the title but I'm trying.) and it'd have NO connection to the first Anaconda movie. I'm tired of big snake movie what about a GIANT snake movie where a GIANT anaconda attacks a city like Tokyo or Los Angeles. It'd be cool if the giant snake could coil itself around a tall skyscraper and begin knocking helicopters ouf of the air or stiking it's head through windows and slithing it's body halls and eatting people. Now THAT might be cool.
so..it bit him on the arm and his arm turned into the snake? does that mean if it bit him in the crotch it'd...well you know?:P
For another really bad snake film you should check out a Z-grade classic: Fangs. This movie doesn't have much gore but some of the most funniest dialogue in human history!
"All serpents do the work of the devil!!!"
I've been seeing Frogs in the $5.50 DVD at WalMart. Is it worth the investment?
trek geezer:
FROGS is definitely worth $5.50. It features Ray Milland in one of his cheesy AIP performances, as well as a young Sam Elliott. It's rated PG, so don't expect much gore. It's just a good old fashioned drive-in movie from the 70s.
Excellent, I too have seen Frogs in the bin and have ALMOST gotten it to the register. Now I finally will.

Breaded and fried? Or baked?
hmmm tough call really. personally i would only recommend it for rental. there's not any gore, or anything exciting that happens in it. i just shows people sinking in swamps while doing quick edits to frogs, it felt more like a national geographic documentary edited in with a 70's b-movie.
however i've always loved the film's movie poster, which i have a smaller reprint hanging in my room. good luck though.

I bet you could do a pretty decent animal/horror movie with old "Wild Kingdom" footage edited around a narration...
hehe, or a Day of the Animals part 2?! gotta love them 70's hippy nature revenge films. Squirm is my personnal fave of them all.
"Does that mean, if it bit him in the crotch. It'd . . . well, you know."
Well, we already have a film that answers that question. Just ask that scout kid in "Lair of the White Worm," what might have happened. He might have turned into a snakepire, if she hadn't drowned him in the tub, by pressing down on his head with her thight-high, high-heeled, black leather boot, when the front doorbell rang.
As for other films where a person turns into a snake, be sure to check out "The Reptile," And for a film where a snake turns into a person, be sure to check out "Cult of the Cobra."
As for "Frogs," it has always been my favorite of the "animals-go-on-attack" films. Maybe because it is the first one of that type I can remember watching.
