If you use the "strike anywhere" matches, this plane could literally "Crash and Burn."
Sweet, weekend project!
It looks neat but the whole time I was reading it I kept thinking, "Who has time for that?"
LOL, just made the plane....looking for the flys.
WTF? That'd look weird.
You know whoever came up with this has to die a horrible death by fly attack. I can see them now swarming every orifice and leaving behind the maggot infested husk of a corpse.
"Launch the aircraft. It should fly like a charm, and, far from being cruel to the flies, you'll be teaching them a new and valuable thing, one that brings us to the virtue of this exercise. For we see that while flies think a lot alike, have a great deal in common, share many of the same hopes and dreams, they never act in concert, as a team, with regard for the worth of other, neighboring flies until forced to by grim circumstance"
Such personal improvement, of course, is terribly useful for the future once you're GLUED TO A PIECE OF WOOD.
The cruelty doesn't even bother me that much, but that's the most phony-baloney rationalization I've read in a long time.
Holy Frijolies!
Thats a crazy idea, but it just might...get you a picket team from PETA!
Not that i'd mind...flies are NOT an endangered species....
Now i can't get that Stain Master carpet commercial out of my mind......
Actually did this this weekend. I could not get the flys to be still long enough for the glue to stick. So I got one of the old planes that were made of wood, that you used to fly when you were a kid, some of them even had the rubberband propellar thing. But anyways I glued 6 June Bugs to it. It was a very wierd, it lifted off, but never really went anywhere, they were all trying to go in defferent directions. Maybe if I can train them to fly straingt , I can have my first circus act :)
