Is the webmaster still updating this website? has anyone heard from him.
Nope.
He disappeared about a month ago and hasn't been heard from since.
He's probably on active duty. Don't worry, he'll be back.
He's a busy guy these days. This is nothing unusual. Before long, he'll poke his head in with news of what he's been doing.
To be honest, I mainly come here for the discussion anyway. A new review every once in a while is just a bonus.
It is summer camp season, so Andrew does have some "chores" to attend to.
and hes got a baby girl to take care of too :)
it would be nice if he set up a better msg board eh?
Why? What's wrong with the message board as is?
I think it is fine.
The other type of message board is the kind where you can add an avatar and see how many times your threads have been read.
Like the BMMB on Stomp Tokyo.
I personally prefer this type of message board format.

The other type of message board...
There are a *lot* of types of message boards, with varying features sets and levels of sophistication. For the usage this one gets, it serves it's purpose
One thing that I like about some of the other boards I have used, is the feature where you do not have to click to read oithers coments. It is all there on the same page. Yoiu simply scroll down to the next users coments.

You can do that here. Just click on the "Flat View" option right above the current "Threaded View" that you are used to seeing. That will put it all inline.
I actually prefer the threaded view.
To see it all on one screen feels like too much on one page for me.
I like to click each thread to read them.

Me too. Same reason. I love the Phorum board so much that I installed it both of my sites too. No need to change the board here IMO.
what sites do you run>????
oh shart. never mind i found out how to sign up and check profiles. wow.
right on.
I am still in country, but was in Quantico for training for a bit over 2 weeks. I will be leaving for California before the end of the summer and, after that, shipping over to Iraq. The word is that we will probably return in late March or early April of 2005.
Got to get to work on "The Trial of Billy Jack" review, because that HAS to get posted before I leave.
Anyway, sorry for being such a poor host. Just trying to get lots of things in line and such.
I've enjoyed this messageboard style most. Very functional and without over doing it like some boards. Easy access and a good crowd.

Man that sucks that they're sending you over to that s**thole.
So I guess I can't look forward to seeing my Ice Pirates review on here anytime soon.

It's faster too. Some other boards can take quite a long time to display a thread and then even longer to load the reply page when you want to post something.
