Title: Land of the dead shooting confirmation...
Post by: Dunners on July 16, 2004, 11:11:05 PM
Its been Confirmed that Romero's 4th dead pic will start filming this october, :D. how f**king cool is that after all these years hes back at it. hes got the budget, the script now all thats left is to cast and move into actual production.

I'm wondering though, what are we gonna get here, he said that the dead are slowly evolving, but into what? In the trilogy the dead came back to life by some mutation by radiation, so what other effects is this radiation gonna cause?

faster zombies? Stronger zombies? Smarter zombies?

Just hearing that Romero is FINALLY given another chance behind the camera is very refreshing. Just hope everything goes Romero's way and Romero's way only, for both his and the fans satisfaction.

And hopefully, Tom Savini will be onhand with the special gory make-up effects. Hell, does anybody know if Savini will be involved?

Have they decided on the local to shoot the film. Pittsburgh and I believe a city in Canada were mentioned. I sure hope it's in Pittsburgh. I live about 40 miles away and would love to see some of the shooting. I've also been to the Monroeville Mall numerous times. Creepy damn place.
