My dad was telling me about a movie he says awhile ago about an alien that goes to a mall and kills people, and each time he murders someone he says, "Have a nice day." Anyone know the name of this movie or anything about it, cause I'm really interested...really, really interested.
I think that your dad might have seen "Chopping Mall." The robots have a tendancy to say that to someone who they have just killed. It could very well pop up in another film, but I cannot think of any others right now.
When I read the description, the first film I thought of was I Come in Peace. Each time the alien killed someone, he said "I come in peace." Is it possible your father is mixing up I Come in Peace and Chopping Mall?
It sounds like "Chopping Mall" to me. "I Come In Peace" was a horrible film; I saw it once when it was released and the stupidity of it still sticks with me. The whole film is a set up for Dolph Lundgren's (non) witty retort in the final scene.
***Oooh, here comes the SPOILER***
Mathias Hues: "I come in peace."
Dolph: "And you go in pieces."
There's absolutely no other reason for the Hues character to even speak.
***end of the big, bad SPOILER***
"Chopping Mall," on the other hand was fun; berserk robots killing teens in a mall can only be good.
