anyone els her frequent flea markets and garage sales looking or bad movies and other stuff? if so what have been your greatest find? just wondering
Naw....I hate fleas...they make me itch.
Actually, there are no flea markets to be found here where I live.
I wish there were though...I'd go to them all the time.
i found some good stuff at flea markets (even thought i havent been to one for years). fireworks some good comic books but last time i went they didnt have alot of movies.
We used to have a weekly flea market at a local drive-in theater, but it was torn down several years ago to put up a normal thater. We used to go years ago and I'd find some good Atari games.
My best find actually came to me indirectly. My grandmother stopped at a tag sale and found an almost mint, boxed Atari 5200 with 3 controllers and about 10 games for $5. She bought it because she and my grandfather liked playing some video games. My grandfather didn't like it, so I ended up buying it from her for the same price.
Recently went to a huge flea market/antique market that operates near here. No movies, but more classic toys and 70s-vintage stuff than I'd expected. My best find was a Darth Vader head. Sort of a plastic bust of Vader, with buttons on the chest panel that make him breathe and talk and whatnot. Thought it would look great on the bookcase with my movies, but my wife disagreed. She thought it was too big.

I recently found Abby, Hugo the Hippo and Santa Claus (the really disturbing Mexican one) at a Flea Market in Gordyville, IIlinois. .... chris
We have a great flea market in Rogers, Ohio that is jam packed on Fridays. I make it to what we call "The Sale" at least two Fridays a month. My recent best score was seperate, factory sealed, widescreens of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy for $10 a piece. There's also loads of coins, cards and comic books there. If you're ever in the area near Youngstown, Ohio, take a Friday and head for Rogers.
over here in the bay area, theres one in daly city, the only movies I ever saw for sale are Waynes World, Aliens, and all those kid movies with the big plastic cases. Never see any b-movies. I used to buy some old G.I Joes and Transformers in the flea market. Even bought me a gremlins figure once.
