Today, while browsing the video section of our local used bookstore, I came across a video entitled "Midget Wrestling Bloopers". The price sticker was unintelligable, so the lady at the counter shrugged and asked for $2. Haven't watched it yet, but I'll update tomorrow.
What the hell can I say about this? Before today, I never knew that midget wrestling was such a dignified, respected sport with so many ancient, time-honored traditions. Such as the tradition of showing clips of the midget in camos, gold chains, and a mohawk trying to be Mr. T every few seconds. There seem to be only about a total of 10 people in the world involved in this highly respected sport, they just keep coming back and fighting each other in different combinations, occasionally tag team and occasionally throwing in "regular humans", just for fun. No full matches here, only clips, sometimes set to supposedly hilarious sound effects such as bombs dropping, tires squealing, toilets flushing, and the obligatory *BOING*. Very very strange, but all the entertainment I could ever hope for for $2. 4 slimes.
Sounds great. I had a chance to go see midget wrestling down on the Mexican border. Sadly, I passed it up. Who knows what my life would be like now if I had gone?
