Title: Angel Unchained (1970)
Post by: Scott on August 04, 2004, 10:03:36 AM
ANGEL UNCHAINED (1970) -  Good biker film from the 70's produced by AIP. It's Hippies vs Ranchers at first then bikers come in to help. It's kinda like THE MAGNIFICIENT SEVEN or rather THE SEVEN SAMARAI as bikers come in to help a commune of hippies defend themselves against a bunch of dune buggy riding cowboys try to put an end to the commune. Fun combination of biker/hippie lingo in a story set in Arizona. It's better than those BILLY JACK films in my opinion.

Tyne Daly in a biker flick! Of course she didn't weigh 300lbs back then.

A quick visit to the IMDB shows that Angel Unchained (http://imdb.com/title/tt0065401/combined) was directed by Lee Madden (http://imdb.com/name/nm0534613/).
