Here's a questin: What are your favorite taglines from b-movies? Here are a few of mine:
"Zombies, guns, and sex-- Oh my!" (Cemetery Man)
"'Two Thumbs Down!' - Siskel & Ebert: Two more great reasons to see Lost Highway!" (Lost Highway)
"A macabre story of two motorcycle-riding, knife-wielding, shiv-shaving, eye-gouging, arm-twisting, chain-lashing, scalpel-flashing, acid-throwing, gun-shooting, bone-breaking, pathological nuts and their pal the UNDERTAKER..."
(The Undertaker and His Pals)
"Heaven help us all when THE DEVIL'S RAIN!" (The Devil's Rain) (Think about it...)
"Positively the most shocking ending of any motion picture ever!" (The Devil's Rain)
I always liked Home Alone 3 using this quote from Roger Ebert as their tagline:
"Better than the first two...." Ha ha ha ha
"By Pick By Axe By Chainsaw.... BYE BYE" The Mutilator
"It's not human... and it's got an AXE" The Prey
"
The (quasi) subject of a recent thread, "Cool As Ice:"
"When a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it. Just add Ice."
Considering that the girl in question really didn't have a heart of stone. Well, I guess that's the film's least problem.
Screamers:"They're men turned inside out! And worse...they're still alive!"
I guess, after consideration, that I went for taglines that really didn't fit the movie they described.
Andrew
"You don't know what mean is until you meet him!" (the Return of the Streetfighter-w/Sonny Chiba)
I always liked the evil dead taglines. Traped in time, surrounded by evil, low on gas.
"Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... you can't get to it!" - Blood Beach
"In space no can eat ice cream!"
-KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE
Hell. Make that:
"In space no ONE can eat ice cream!"
-KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE
(Unless you count that astronaut ice cream, which I don't. Good God, that stuff is awful.)
