I've been trying to remember the name of this movie that I went to see in the late 70's/early 80's, but it just won't come to me....
The movie is about a man who is expose to a bomb or missile exploding, sees a bright flash of red in the sky, and acquires super powers... The catch to his powers is.... Any time he sees the color RED, they go away. I remember him being strapped into the electric chair, awaiting execution, and the villianess had left a bouquet of red roses for him. And after he had told the priest that he wanted to donate them to the church, and upon their removal, the execution took a shocking twist.... The spectators to the execution were electricuted (not fatally, of course) instead of our hero....
I truly hope that someone out there know the movie I'm talking about.... And more importantly..... ITS NAME.....
Sounds like "Super Fuzz."
From IMDB:
"Red powder from a nuclear explosion gives a police officer super powers as long as he doesn't see anything red. He is eventually framed for murder and is unsuccessfully executed by many different methods."
Thanx greatly!!! I'll have to look into that.... And thanx again Shadowfyre!!!
