First, i heard the tail end of an interview with Dick Miller in a "B-movie" segment on NPR's "Fresh Aire". Does Dick have a book about his Corman years out? They ended the segment , after an intervies with Deborah Price, Vinnie's daughter, with the "Thriller" narration. Neat.
Then : I went to a warehouse where my company has us exchange boxs of subscriber papers. Just open the door, and switch boxs...
This time, the door was partly open, and there was a Big Ass Preying Mantis on the code key pad!
And i laughed , and i asked the bug, "so, did you pick the lock, big fella?"
I mean it, he was lookin' at me like "I think i can take 'em".
So....any B moments lately?
I think "Fresh Air" is having a theme week of old interviews, something like "Big, Bold, Brassy, and Trashy" week. I caught part of last night's episode with John Barry and Tom Jones, they fit the theme because of their work on James Bond music apparently.
