Title: Tales of Terror (1962)
Post by: Scott on September 09, 2004, 08:43:37 PM
TALES OF TERROR (1962) - Good AIP film directed by Roger Corman with 3 of Edgar Allan Poes stories and it starred Vincent Price in all 3 tales. Peter Lorre also has a good part in THE BLACK CAT. FLIX showed it tonight, but I missed the first story called MORELLA. The ones that I did see were THE BLACK CAT and THE CASE OF MR. VALDEMAR. I enjoyed the ones I saw and I'll try to catch the first story next week as FLIX will be playing it again. The stories are shot like a morbid Disney film.

IIRC you caught the two best stories of the bunch. I'd like to get this on DVD. The last time I tried to watch the whole film was on an awful VHS copy I rented that was so blurry I got a headache, and no amount of picture adjustment could help it.
