just blowing in the www. There are oodles of bad movies that have yet to be reviewed here. About late William Girdler`s "the manitou", I consider it an oversight not to have included a sound file of Lalo Schifrin`s riveting opening music. Review suggestion: invasion of the bee girls. Boy, would that be a popular review !
This site is maintained by an individual in his spare time, out of the goodness of his heart and his love for bad movies. And, since he is a US Marine, he has not had oodles of spare time since 9/11/01.
Even if Andrew never writes another review, this site won't be 'blowin in the www,' imo, due the reviews he has already written. I've been looking at this site since 1999, and I am still entertained by the work he has done.
Plus, this forum remains one of only three that I frequent on the net, and none of them have to do with movies, Bad or Otherwise. The wealth of knowledge and passion for movies on this forum exceed any I've seen anywhere else, at least in a way that is communicated with courtesy and not rudeness (most of the time :) ).
So, I say "Thanks Andrew, and everyone else. I ain't complainin' ."
Nope this site will not blow into the "www". And it's still entertaining (I haven't read all of his reviews yet)
Okay I pretty much said the same thing that ulthar said.
Thank you ,Andrew. For protecting and entertaining us.
This is the only site where I am an active participant in the message boards. Even if there is NEVER another review posted, I will stay on board, and participate in the shenanigans.
I've said it before, even if Andrew didn't have good reasons not to update the site (which he does), it's something he's given freely to the rest of us, and we should be thankful. It's the curse of a volunteer that people just keep demanding more, without recognizing that it is we who owe something to the volunteer, not the other way around.
Is it possible for some of the other folk in charge to step in and update the site, albiet carefully, whilst he is away?
Just add a few reviews here and there, kinda like a substitution Andrew.
I'd imagine that's a large task though, and you'd have big boots to fill!
I wouldn't mind writing a review or two. I have some experience in that area, although I'd have to make the time.
Andrew is the only one able to update the site at this time, however. At least, as far as I know.
