Title: Plz help me Identify this Amazon/Barbarian movie
Post by: RMikeH on September 15, 2004, 03:54:57 PM
Plz help identify this (circa 82-86?) Amazon/ Barbarian movie:
Movie is a Hard "R"  rating with lots of dominate/ submisive erotic themes. Movie takes place through a good portion in either a castle or Dungeon with a little torture as well. The women wear the scantly clad furry animal "Amazon look" The men all seem to be Barbarians with very much a dominate role over the females. srry to be so brief.. any idea's  on what movie this may be?

Much appreciated.

This is probably Barbarian Queen, or perhaps Warrior Queen.  The fur costumes make me think Barbarian Queen but the long dungeon scenes remind me of Warrior Queen, which has a really long orgy scene that takes place in a dungeon of some kind.

Likely it is "Barbarian Queen" (1985). There is a long torture scene ending with an escape by, um, well, I guess you might call it "extreme vaginal control." Lots of gratuitous nudity, bad fight scenes and acting, and wacky torture devices. It is much better than its sequel, though, which took me three or four tries before I watched all of it.

Blkrider:
This "Warrior Queen" movie that you are referring to, was it released in the mid '80's because the only one I can locate on the Net is a 2003 newer version. OR is this the same movie?
Much appreciated for yours  and Def's help.

Yes, this was a mid-80s "unrated" movie with Sybil Danning.  It was a Cinemax staple.   I think the setting was more Roman than barbarian.
