PURGATORY (1999) - Good made for TV Western about a gang of bank robbers who find their way to a town called Refuge. They start to notice that things don't seem normal. One of the gang who has read of the Western legends notice something about the towns people. It was a TNT original that turns out to be a good film without any big name stars except maybe Sam Shepard and Randy Quaid. I first heard of this movie on this messageboard. I believe it was Boyscoutkevin who told me about it a couple years ago. This is definately not your typical Western. Check it out the title kinda says it all.

Maybe, it was me that recommended it, as I have seen it. And I hold, it is not only one of the better made for television westerns out there, it is probably one of the better made for television films out there. And I am glad you liked it, Scott, as we seem to have similar tastes in films.
