Coming Saturday Oct. 9 another SciFi original "Frankenfish" . The tagline "Don't try to catch the one that got away---it'll catch you!"
This looks like a real smelly cheese fest, with absolutely no actors I've ever heard of. Possible I could've seen some of them before , but I don't know them by their names.
SciFi is true to form as "Snakehead Terror" will be playing prior to the new main feature.

Sweeeeeeeet
Ahh!! I knew I saw the preview last night, but I thought it was on the video I had rented (either "Future Fear": already seen, or "Dark Future": tonight's entertainment)
IMDB has FrankenFish being a horror/comedy
Oh for....Now, i gotta check this mudpuppy out.
Ah, the ripping will be fine indeed!
Okay , I would have to say this was not too bad for a SciFi original. It was actually made by Sony/Columbia/Tristar.
The CG of the fish in the water was crappy as usual, but they did have a decent life sized animated rubber fish for the up close scenes. In fact most of the FX were of decent quality.
For those who watched, did anyone see the shotgun blast that got the biologist lady coming? I was waiting for Ricardo's propane tank to go up but never thought about the gun discharging. In fact this movie had a several surprises that broke the cheapie monster flick formula.
The characters for the most part were formula (make that stupid). I was wondering what kind of biologist get grossed over someone cuttng a fish open (granted it had just decapitated someone).
Overall, though I found it enjoyable.
.
Oh man, what yummy cheese. I did see the shotgun blast coming down the turnpike, but didn't think that the biologist would get it. I was waiting for the propane tank to blow up though.
It was surprising that the wussy lawyer guy made it that long. Cool f/x with reggae guy getting decapitated.
