How come every time someone famous dies, the media says they "died at home, surrounded by family and friends?"  What are these people doing, lurking around, waiting for their inheritances?

Funny. I was watching her together with daughter Jamie Lee in "The Fog" a few days ago.

It is quite common when someone has a long term fatal illness that the family would be there when they expire.

My brothers, myself , my mom's sister, and a couple of my nieces were there when my Mom died,  and believe me she had nothing to inherit that was worth having to live the experience of watching her breathe her last breath.

I'm really not jumping your case, but the family being there is not uncommon when someone wishes to die at home.

A friend's wife died last week of Cancer. He was the only one with her at the time.
Imagin how hard it is, to go throught that alone.
