Oh no....
This is terrible news.
Christopher Reeve has died from heart failure.
This has hit me a bit harder than other recent celebrity deaths for some reason and I don't know why.
Maybe it's because I always looked up to him as a boy...I idolized him.
He was a hero to millions of people...onscreen and off.
He was a great man and will always be Superman to all of us.

Rest in peace Chris....you can fly for real in the place that you're in now.

In 1978 the ads told us we would believe a man could fly. We saw Superman on the big screen and we did believe.
In 1995 we believed it again after Christopher Reeve's accident. He made himself a champion of the disabled and never lost hope that he would walk again and in believing that he gave hope to countless others in similar situations. He will be missed and will continue to be a role model both as Superman and as a super man.
Yeah, I guess because he was such a fighter, the news that he lost the fight is pretty sad.
This has hit me pretty hard as well.
A real Superman has fallen.
R.I.P Christopher Reeve
Great actor and even a greater role model of courage. Thank you Superman!
