Hi everyone,
Has anyone heard of this? I saw it and I laughed my head off. They show tribute/make fun of every trope in the 50's B-movie school of filmmaking. I thought it a fun film for those who gone through Robot Monster, The-Attack-of-The-Giant -Anything, and all the Bert I. Gordon films I can think of.
Here are some trailers, note the epic battle scene.

Just a fun diversion in my book.

haha yeah i caught this and i got a real big kick out of it too. it definitely did a good job mimicking 50's z-grade films. i also enjoyed the walking skeleton on strings. nice!
great dialouge, some of the funniest dialouge ever possibly
"I SLEEP NOW"
Sounds like a winner. Saw it on the shelve at Best Buy.
Loved everything about it --
"Dance, Animala, dance!!"
"If only it had hands -- If only it did have hands!!"
Okay, so a dessicated skeleton in a cave in Bronson Canyon is going to somehow "rule the world". Sure . .
There's a website out there that the filmmakers put together with "real" junk like lunchboxes, the Aurora plastic monster model kit for the mutant, a board game, etc. etc., as if this were a real flick from 1961. Priceless.

Us ALIENS?
Is that one of your EARTH jokes?
I've not seen all of the Lost Skeleton, but the parts I saw surely had the wooden acting down pat.
I think I posted about this a long time ago, but Larry Blamire who wrote, directed, and acts in Lost Skeleton has a website about a long unrealized project he can't get out of his head. It's called Steam Wars (http://steamwars.com/).
I think it's a great concept and would definitely like to see it done.

My wife and I use that line every once in a while, particularly with a baby who can nod off at any time.
Well, I never expected this thread to show up again. But Steam Wars looks pretty neat. I explored SteamPunk SciFi and generally enjoyed it. For some reason I suspect George Lucas would not apprive of the name.

Aw, man....STEAM WARS is go Anime written all over it....and this was BEFORE "Steam Boy". Nice.
One words, guys....SCIENCE!
I was impressed with the fact that he has done so much backstory and art work. I think this could be really cool.
