Well, have you ever met a movie star.
I don't think so...
I once got banned from a website that is run by a man who was an extra on Wing Commander. That is how close I have gotten to meeting a hollywood star. BTW, that movie really sucked. Its always on Sci-fi, and I can't sit through it. Its that bad!
Actually, I have met several film stars and musicisnas. I myself used to be a bounder at a nightclub here and I met sever bands that came to the club to play. Including, Greg Almond, Creed, POD, Chavelle, and MXPX.
Now my little sister is interning for a production company and she invited me to go to a company lunch type deal, and I met Will Smith and his wife there, also Bill Pullman was there and I got to sit and talk with him and a couple of peopel who said they had been in movies but I have never seen them.
A list from memory -- If I dig out my scrapbooks, it's probably more:
Glenn Close John Goodman
Zero Mostel Mako
Bill Cosby Rene Auberjonois(sp? -- Odo/etc.)
Joan Rivers Jim Nabors
Mitzi Gaynor Michelle Trachtenberg
Florence Henderson Kathy Shower
Harriet Nelson Edie McClurg
Tom Bosley Tracy Nelson
Andy Williams Robert Guillaume(sp? -- Benson/etc.)
Phil Proctor (and Peter Bergman, David Ossman & Phil Austin)
Burt Ward Victor Borge
Jack Carter

Like I say, once I sign off the topic, I'll probably think of some more, but these are the ones I recall most easily.
Being a peripheral character actor, such as myself, does have its perks re. meeting the rich and famous. Some of them,(eg. Joan Rivers), are incredibly nice in person & go against the character-types most associated with them.
My mom used to work for Art Linkletter as a secretary in the 60's. Carol Burnette touched my cheek in a supermarket and said "Oh what a cute baby", I was 6 months old.
