In the full length SPYZ, the poor girl Ali flips to the ground in the fight seen flashes the camera. OOps, they missed that in editing.

If I'm not mistaken I believe I saw part of his short films on one of the episodes. Was it possibly the episode with James Lipton?

yeah. but they have the full thing he showed lipton as a bonus on the DVD "Da Ali G Show"
