Have any of you seen this half documentary half film yet?
The local second run theater here in town finally got it and I was considering going to see it until I read Ebert's Answer Man column where it was revealed as a supposed hoax.
It's one big infomercial for the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. (http://ramtha.com/html/aboutus/aboutus.stm)
The film's official website denies this though and does make a convincing argument that it is not a recruiting film for RSE.
Here's Ebert's review of it. (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040910/REVIEWS/409100306)
And here's the Answer Man column about it. (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041003/ANSWERMAN/410030301/1023)
And here's another interesting Answer Man column on it. (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040919/ANSWERMAN/40917006)
Still, it does have my interest piqued and I may go see it anyway.
So what the #$*! do you think about this film?

Oh...I almost forgot to add the official website for the film.

Check out the FAQ...it's pretty interesting.

I #$%%$ think you shouldn't swear when you ask somebody a question unless that person has upset you. ; )
This film has been playing at a local arthouse theater for months. I wish it would go away as that theater only has one screen and that film is on it.
