Title: Looking for a title of a 60's/70's horror movie

I must have seen this movie a dozen times as a kid, but I can't remember the name.

It was on an island where some scientist accidentally creates these creatures that lok like big tutle shells that have a hose-like probe that attaches to their victims and they suck the bones out of their bodies and when they ate enough they split into two creatures and multiply.

Anyone? Anyone?

Shazaam! Begg's got it. Definitely ISLAND OF TERROR. When the creatures split, the in between material looks remarkably like Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup!

Absolutely right. I had a VHS copy of this several years ago. I think I sold it on Ebay.

Yep! Scared the used food out of me at the drive-in.
Classic flick. Is it on DvD?
