It may have been called Tubby the Tuba, but maybe that's something else. I just remember it has this frog who would appear and sing "Bar-gup Bar gup, lovely evening bar-gup bar-gup I say lovely evening plump plump, plump plump, I say bea-u-ti-ful evening hello bugump hello bugump...Hellllloo"
Tubby the Tuba. A George Pal Puppetoon. Paramount release 1946. I think I saw it also in a shorter form under a title having 'symphony' in it, not sure.
There's this cartoon in the early to mid-eighties about this music band That went to this alternate universe called the "Flipside" and turned their truck into some freaked out railcar. And after every episode, they always played a live action music video (I think one of them hosted Entertainment Tonight). I remember one of those videos being a remake of the Supremes "Baby, Baby". Damn! It's racking my brain.
kidvideo? Here's another good cartoon song "froggie went a courtin he did go crambo!!!!!!!!" (tom n jerry)
