Aside from Tanya Roberts, the first Beastmaster was a must-miss also.

Have you ever seen the TV series. My God as if the movies are'nt bad enough. Unless your into the loincloth thing I dont get why anyone would want to watch this crap. The guy they got for it looks like a gay porn star. Maybe their after the elusive gay teen audience or something.

The first BM movie was pretty good as those kinds of movies go.  I thought Marc Singer did a pretty good job and Dar was more articulate than most.  The second one was just silly and the third looked cheap.

The TV series with Dar weilding a club and such is just rediculus

Freep, are you away of what you posted above? "The first BM movie was pretty good..." Yes, the first BM movie, entitled "Mr. Poop in the Land of Loose Bowels," was pretty good. I don't remember Marc Singer in it, however.

Yes, Marc Singer was in it. Along with Tanya Roberts, John Amos, and Rip Torn.

As for myself, I enjoyed the first and third movies, but not the second movie nor the television show.

I just checked on IMDB, and I'm afraid that you are very mistaken. Marc Singer, Tanya Roberts, John Amos, and Rip Torn never appeared in "Mr. Poop in the Land of Loose Bowels." You must be thinking of Gil Gerard.

Gil Gerard? I didn't see that film listed among his credits at www.imdb.com. I guess, we were both wrong.
