Title: NEW EVIL DEAD NEWS! & Romero's Dead reckoning is finally and definatly a go!
Post by: Rob Phillips on December 07, 2004, 03:51:17 PM
Well, maybe not . . .

I was looking up Sami Rami on IMDB.com, it shows a remake of the original (?) evil dead in the works for 2005.

I didn't see anything about Bruce, but since Sam uses him in almost everything he does, I'd love to see a high budget version of this.

Romero is listed for two new movies . . .

Land of the Dead, AKA Dead Reckoning (evolving Zombies . . . b***hen!)

Diamond Dead, Heavy metal Zombie killers! Oh Yeah!

Sorry if this is old new, but I've been away for a bit.

Yeah, this has been covered in the past on here.

Bruce isn't going to be the lead from what we know.

I think that Sean William Scott has been attached to it actually.

Sean William Scott could be a decent Scotty.  Not that I'm in any way endorsing this remake, which is the most monumentally bad idea since allowing the Christian Right to run the country.

Okey Doke . . . that's what I get for not logging on for a while . . .

I'd love to see Bruce play the scientist or even better throw in the tow truck driver from ED2 and have him play that part.

Think the'll call the book the Necronomicon (my own mispelling) or the original name (from ED1) Naturan Demanto (Andrew's mispelling).

Now for a follow up to Cemetary man and I'm in heaven.
