Title: Fleshburn (1984)
Post by: Scott on December 20, 2004, 12:10:27 AM
FLESHBURN (1984) - Story about a Native American Vietnam Vetran who is put into a mental institution for his beliefs in Indian magic. He escapes and abducts four lawyers involved in putting him away and he takes them to a remote desert region in Arizona, then takes away their shoes while he watches them suffer in the heat from a long distance with a rifle in hand. Then the film becomes kinda like a survivalist film and you actually learn some tips on desert survival in this film.  Not a bad film, not a good film. Not sure what to make of it. It had it's moments. The film was shot in the Tucson, Arizona area.

Is this the one starring Sonny Landham, best known as BIlly from "Predator"? This one sat on the shelves at my local video store from high school for years. I'm convinced no one ever rented their copy. But I picked up the box thousands of times.

I remember one of the tabloid TV news shows like "Hard Copy" or "A Current Affair" making a big deal out of his 70s porn career.

Yes, this is the same film Yaddo. The film isn't bad and can be oddly entertaining. A bit talky in parts, but it's ok. Worth a $2 rental or even purchase for the same price.
