Title: Bad Movie (Double Feature)
Post by: Scott on January 11, 2005, 11:36:22 PM
NIGHTMARE IN WAX (1969) - Carmerron Mitchell stars as a one  eyed wax curator at Movielands Wax Museum in Los Angeles area. This is hard viewing as it's part of the Horrible Horror Collection Volume 2. Extremely dull, yet you have Mitchell trying to save the film as the evil eye patch wearing villian. Mitchell falls in a vat of boiling wax in the end.  The best part of this film was seeing the words "THE END".

BLOOD OF DRACULA'S CASTLE (1969) - Ooo-ouch this film hurt bad. Al Adamson directs this horrid film. Two Vampires at some castle with a Igor type character named Mango. They keep women in the basement and a butler played by John Carradine takes blood from the women with a needle then proceeds upstairs to serve glasses of blood to our two high class vampires. I'm not sure if it's our Krieger on this board, but someone really loves this film. Here is a link. http://gregkrieger.tripod.com/aladamson/bodc/blooddrac.html (http://gregkrieger.tripod.com/aladamson/bodc/blooddrac.html). If it's you Krieger tell me it's not so.

I could hardly bare either of these two films, but I did. Good luck to those who try.

Don't know Krieger, but I love the Blood of Dracula's Castle!!! I saw it a few years back. I love the werewolf who never gets hairy. Mango's ears are funny too. Looks like they have been taped shut.  The Count and Mrs. Dracula are more or less set decoration.

Yea, Mango seemed to have a limp stiff leg/hip, but he sure climbs that steep hill like a champion.

BLOOD OF DRACULA'S CASTLE left a strange B-movie taste in my mouth. Krieger devoted a whole page to the movie. It's like being struck with a heavy  b-movie foam log repeatedly. At each and every moment of the film I suffered. I kinda liked the photography session at that 60's version of Sea World.
