Title: Hellblazer movie, is it any good?
Post by: AlexB on January 15, 2005, 05:52:57 PM
When I was a lot younger, I tried to see each and every live action adaptation of comics. Then I saw The Flash, and I decided that, maybe, it was better to be a bit more selective.

Now I hear rave reviews of the up and coming Hellblazer adaptation. So I ask myself: is it worth it or should I steer clear of this one?

I'm steering clear of it. Hellblazer's probably my favorite comic series. Casting Keanu Reeves as a character based on Sting, relocating the whole thing to Los Angeles, tacking on the screenwriter of The Glimmer Man and a director who's done nothing but Aerosmith videos hardly fills me with confidence.

Yeah I didn't like the whole Keanu Reeves thing well because I dont like him as a actor. I like Hellblazer comic too so I probably check it out. I don't mind changes from comics to movies cause you have to make for the movie going audeince as well as comic fans but like I stated I don't like Keanu Reeves.
