I'm sure that pics of Charlize as Aeon aren't that hard to find, but I haven't seen any posted here. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work as either an inline image or a direct link to the file. I have no idea why, so if you want to see it, you'll have to cut & paste the link below (which DOES work).

Aeon as in Final Fantasy?
No. Charlize as in my fantasy. (:
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
No, I'm serious. Final Fantasy?
Jack, Aeon Flux is an adult cartoon from MTV awhile back. Charlize is starring as Aeon in the movie.
Here's a link to some quick information on the cartoon to fill you in...
Aeon Flux (http://www.tvtome.com/AeonFlux/)
BTW, don't take this the wrong way but how can you not know about Aeon Flux? I'm just curious about that.
Jack: "Aeon as in Final Fantasy?"
No. Aeon as in Aeon Flux... as the title of the thread suggests. It was an old cartoon that MTV used to air long ago.
Aeon Flux was an extremely skinny, borderline ugly chick (I say "borderline" because she had her sexy moments)... Charlize doesn't look much like her. But since I'm not a fan of the old show, I'm not opposed to the change.
Jack doesn't get MTV in Australia and I never watched it.
Being a huge fan of the old show Ive been checking around of what people think about it and its been getting "Constantine" type of feel. Fans have been saying how come she doesn't look like the cartoon, how come she not being played by a unknown etc. To be honest the cartoons down right weird so you can't really stay exactly "true" to it. I will reserve my judgement till I see it.

You can’t give it, you can't buy it, and you just don't
I've seen pictures of her in costume and it is nothing like the cartoon. She has a whole lot less exposed. I think she got injured on set once too.
odinn7, I don't know about it because... I'm 14!
Meh.
But I think I know what you are talking about. There was music clip I saw once, and my cousin thought it was an old cartoon that used to be on a while ago. It was Anime.
That's cool Jack. As I said, I was just curious, no offense meant.
Btw Menard, Jack can get MTV if he subscribes to cable tv, but I'm not sure about the showing of Aeon Flux on it. Also, I'm in Australia, and know about Aeon Flux and have seen many an episode. Though I am pretty sure what I saw were the shorts, with occassional speaking episodes rather than a full fledged series. But its not like we are cut off from society here!!
I was just saying to everyone that I didn't know about it because of my age, odinn7. The post wasn't offensive.
I am pretty sure I might have seen it in a video clip... Is it Anime, and has one of the female characters got purple skin? If so, I might know what you're talking about.
dean, by the way, my parents and I don't really want to get cable. We got it for two months in '97, and it didn't work out for us.
Plu, all of my relatives have a foxtel connection at their house. Cheap Foxtel!!!
Dean
My apologies for presuming that MTV was not generally available.
Could you kindly remind me at what point I said you were cut off from society?

I did NOT say that you said that I was CUT OFF from SOCIETY!!!!!
Jack, that was a reply to Dean, not you. I'll edit it.
Oh.
Sorry, buddy. Sorry.

GOTCHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (:
Hahahahahahaha...
Stop plagerising me.
Oh yeah, what soldier do you like best in DayotD?
"Do ya feel lucky, punk?"
The dead one.
hahahahahahaha..
I'm sure it'll be another Tank Girl/Barb Wire/Catwoman/Elektra fiasco.
Yeah, it could end up as the next Catwoman...
"Do ya feel lucky, punk?"
Hey, don't be knocking Tank Girl. That is an Avant Garde, bad movie masterpiece!! :-p
>>Could you kindly remind me at what point I said you were cut off from society?<<
oh and Menard, I didn't mean to imply that you said we were cut off, I was just goofing around in mock pain about the lack of good tv here [I have to live with 5 major channels and one crappy one!]
Aeon Flux, the movie, will be interesting to see how they take the direction, but with a critically acclaimed actress headlining it [one who apparently now has a 'no stunts' clause in her contract because of this movie] I doubt we will be seeing exactly what we want to see. But here's hoping that Charlize maintains her credibility in choosing parts lately and chose this role because of a great fantastic script rather than a big fat pay check [like Halle Berry seemed to do with Catwoman]
But I have to say, with the lineup of movies in the making, I am both excited and afraid of the movies that we will be seeing in the next couple of years.
New Batman
Ghostrider
War of the Worlds
Aeon Flux
Star Wars III
and god knows how many I have forgotten in all the hype, and all the sequels and remakes, and Asian horror adaptations that will come our way.
It's going to be a busy 24 months!

Its about the same here. We have six channels of varying quality, and content. One of those channels literally has maybe 6 hours of regular programming, the other 18 hours is infomercials and overnight religious programs.
