Finally watched this one on video. I barely could finish it. I'd probably clump it in with Master of the Universe, Garbage Pail Kids, or Super Mario Bros. Actually this one was a hit at the box office. Evidently there were a couple sequels. AND I'M NOT GOING TO SEEK THOSE ONES OUT. I don't know whatever compelled me to watch TMBG, in the first place.
I watched it when I was seven, and caught the ending a couple of years ago. Thank God that I can't remember all of it.
"Do ya feel lucky, punk?"
I've been meaning to find this for a while and watch it again, just for memories sake [My brother rented the sequel a few months ago, and got me into the mood for more!]. Same with Super Mario Bros [I have Masters of the Universe on VHS, so I don't have to worry about that classic!]
:-p
Don't really know anything about the other one you mentioned though.
You haven't enjoyed the Ninja Turtles movies until you've seen #2 with Vanilla Ice. My first wife dragged me to that when it came out. I wanted to take her life so badly...see it...go ahead, you'll be sorry you did.
#3 is the best one. My kids (who are grown now) actually have all three on VHS.
How could any one hate the second movie it had
(spoilers)
Toka and Raiza two big monsters! and.....
Super Shredder!!! (For only about 30 seconds) but he was still pretty cool.
I wouldn't mind seeing a live actions movie where it was closer to the comic book, like the Foot ninjas actually got hit by the turntles weapons and bleed. Man, they gotta re-release the older turtle comics because I'm dying to read them again.
Heh. All you foolish mortals and your talk of the Trilogy. There are FOUR! Well, the fourth is a two-hour pilot for a failed live-action TV show, but if Mitchell counts, TMNT 4 counts as well. I quite like the first one. The second one is at least fun. The third is awfully boring. But if you thought any of the first three were bad, number four makes the first one look like Citizen Kane!
Come on, Turtles travelling back in time wasn't your thing? Haha, good times.
Oh and I had completely forgot [or supressed, depending on your point of view] Vanilla Ice's cameo appearance. My, how hardcore he is, rapping about Turtles and what-not! :-p
I was always kind of impressed with the fact that the stuntmen could perform martial arts moves while wearing those costumes.
