Title: Female Vampire (1973)
Post by: Scott on February 15, 2005, 12:55:33 AM
FEMALE VAMPIRE (1973) - This French film directed by Jess Franco and starring Lina Romay is something else. Strange Vampire flick were they replaced all the neck biting scenes for something else.  The atmosphere and music are interesting. Check it out........... Jess Franco even has a role as the Doctor. He also later marries Lina Romay in real life.

Lucky bastard, too.  Lina Romay is *hot*.
If y'all dig this one, check out Vampyres (a.k.a. Daughers of Dracula) and Vampyros Lesbos.

Yep, then like Brother Ragnarok said you absolutely must see VAMPYRES and VAMPYROS LESBOS.

I'll add THE DEVILS NIGHTMARE also.

Either I saw an edited version of Devil's Nightmare, or that movie is the biggest cocktease I've ever seen.

Add to that about any Jean Rollin vampire flick including THE LIVING DEAD GIRL.

Although there is a lesbian scene in THE DEVIL'S NIGHTMARE, Erica Blanc just teases, although enough to make it uncomfortable to sit. (:

How many Jean Rollin films have you seen Menard? What titles and what order did you like them? The only Rollin film I've seen so far is DEMONIACS which was interesting, but the interior sets were terrible.

I have only seen THE LIVING DEAD GIRL which is supposed to be one of his better ones. I found it to be entertaining for its runtime, but still mediocre in its category.

I have RAPE OF THE VAMPIRE, REQUIEM FOR A VAMPIRE, and  FASCINATION on DVD but have yet to watch them., although stills from them make them look interesting.
