Okay, here's what I know... David's car was a modified Corvette (obviously), The car David jumped into at the end was a Sterling kit car (my car). I know I've seen the base car that were modified into Stalone's car, and the "bull" car... but I can't seem to find what car it was... I want to say it was a Manta company kit car, but they weren't the Mirage or a Montage... I also want to say they were Porshe's (962?)... or Porshe replicas. Now what really confuses me, what were the other two cars? I thought I saw some early model Mustang in the German car. Anyways, can somebody bring these cars to light? The only cars I'm sure about are the Vette and the Sterling. Thanks in advance.

I swear I heard once in a interview with Roger Corman that they were Triumph Spitfires taht were customer designed by Dick Dean. I might be wrong - but I'm sure he talks about it with Lenard Maltin before the movie begins.
Hope this helps,

the DEATH RACE 2000 cars are all Volkswagen based vehicles.one is obviously a modified Karmann Ghia, the others are custom VW chassis kit cars. The Corvette looking car is actually a VW with a body kit with a corvette style. The cars were built by Dean Jeffries of Hollywood, CA.
They should come out with a line of HOT WHEELS or Johnny Thunder toys based on the DEATHRACE cars! Better yet...model kits. That would be groovy!

That makes sense, it has the longbody corvette look, but something just wasn't right, and I bet it's the wheelbase, it's too short.
