Title: Johnny Blaze's Hell Cycle
Post by: Ash on April 15, 2005, 05:28:23 PM
Most of you know that Nick Cage will be starring in Ghost Rider which is slated for release in August 2006.

I found this kickass pic of his Hell Cycle.

(Go HERE (http://superherohype.com/nextraimages/hellcycleexclusive.jpg) to see a larger version of this same pic.)

What do you think?

Well, I think it would be very difficult to ride that thing too far with the tires melting off...likely it would hurt your ass too, bikes are hot to begin with.

Its pretty close to the comic version from what I remember. Their has not been a comic with Ghost Rider in it for awhile. Last one was a mini series from 2001 called Hammer Lane.

I used to read Ghost Rider sporadically in the early 90's, along with Morbius and Nightstalkers.  I remember when about five related comics (Morbius, Blaze, Ghost Rider, Nightstalkers and something) made a very ambitious one-month crossover with a new comic each week for a month.  The fans hated it (too much money, too much hassle) and I don't think Marvel did anything like it again.

I also used to read a number of comics from the Marvel 2099 series, including Spider-Man and Ghost Rider.  In the 2099 universe, Ghost Rider was a teenager who's brain was transplanted into a nanotech body with a chainsaw for a second hand.  Cyberpunk was the flavour of the times, and the 2099 series was heaped with it.  I loved it.

Where was I?

Oh yes!  The Hell Cycle sure does bring back some memories!

Happy days, they were indeed!  :-)

they have been filming ghost rider around where I go to school, havent seen ghost rider yet, just a bunch of swat guys and plenty of cop cars, they are also using the building where my brother in law works, he got to see the stunt guy driving around the motorbike, he said it looked stupid because the guy had lights on his helmet and wheels, obviously for the digital effects thet get added later
