Yes, we have all been young once (I think). We have all been board newbies (ahem...I said board...not bored). We have all been eager in our desire to create and talk about topics of varying interests. And, we have all probably posted something we later hoped would never rear its ugly head ever again.

As far as nominating a post that's not mine, there are way too many out there but here's a sampling of what I'm thinking:
"katie" gets it for the 'angelina jolie's lips (fake or real)' topic.
"sami alem" gets it in the same topic for his off the wall posts.
In turn, I should get it too now that I think about it, for encouraging the stupidity from him/her in that topic.
I'll nominate Skaboi for his 'Actress/Actor you would like to date' because we already know he's embarrassed by it.
ASHTHECAT gets a few nominations. The most current coming to mind is the 'Conan O'Brien's Wife' topic...hello? Stalker...Sorry ASH, just messing around but seriously, you shouldn't post when you're drinking ;-)

I believe the thread was closed because nobody wanted to see how far it would go with me encouraging sami to be real and him answering. Really it was off topic and pointless anyway. Honestly, after he/she came back that last time, I was done with it as I had already decided that I was encouraging a loon and it was no longer funny...to me anyway.
As far as you ranting about the captain of the Titanic, I'm easy. Everyone makes mistakes and remembers things incorrectly from time to time and you can't hold that against anyone. Now, we could probably dig into your past and come up with something better for you...

I've been known in the past, for starting politic wars on this board. Not that I think my political views are embarrasing, but not knowing how to mention them without starting a flame war certainly is.
Plus I recently joined another board and accidentaly started a revolt when I posted a tongue-in-cheek master plan to end with catholic religion. It was a Dr. Evil-like rant. but the wrong people took it seriously. They should have known I wasn't speaking seriously when I defended Keanu Reeves' performance on "Constantine".
There was once a regular poster here named Squishy the Squid.
He needled people & I once let him get the better of me.
I went off on him & called him names & generally got pretty hysterical. I was dead embarrassed by it all. I mean, really . . .
Either this board is for fun or not. We can do some real arguing or heavy discussions occasionally, but there's no real excuse for just going off on someone like I did.
Anyway, that's my most embarrassing post . . . except for the next one I make!!

Well, from anything I've seen, the average intelligence on this board is quite high, compared to many. Probably why I pretty much post here exclusively. People here know what they're talking about, and don't usually misinterpret things. There have been exceptions, but not a lot.
I miss Squishy, among other former posters. That guy could stir the pot, and write interesting posts.
