What can I say? It looks awesome! Can't wait!
It looks as creative as the first movie was... (that's sarcasm). They should just call the sequel "Saw 2: More of the Same BS" and the tagline should be "...only written on a much shorter time frame."
I thought the first one was ok when I saw it in movies, nothing special. It felt like a poor mans "Seven". A second one is pushing it and feels unnecessary.

I liked Saw, though it wasn't as good as Seven, and I hated the fact that they marketed in comparison to Seven, but it was good, especially given the budget and the fact that this film was actually different to most of the 'horror' films we have been flooded with which all seem all too similar.
That being said, a sequal is unneccessary but hey, I'm willing to give it a shot.
At least the poster looks good.
With how much backlash there was for the first one I wouldnt be suprised if this one ends up DTV. I enjoyed it, but it deffinately wasnt a good movie.
And yes, yes I would base my opinion of how good a movie will be based entirely on what the poster looks like...nah, don't think so.
So, Dean, (Or any other Aussies out there) did you ever watch Leigh Whannell years ago on Recovery on ABC on Saturday mornings?
Yup I certainly did, he's also a local boy [from Melbourne] and I know a few people who did the same [or very similar] course that they did at RMIT. Not that they will really go that far though :-P
I remember when Saw first came out I was thinking, "hang on a sec, I know that guy, what the hell is he doing in an American horror film??"
It was just odd. But good on both of them I guess, its a tough market to break into I would suppose.
