My morning radio DJs were talking about scary scenes in
movies as their Friday the 13th discussion and it reminded
me of a movie title that I've been wondering about for
some time. As a young child in the late 60's, I was at the
Drive-in for a triple feature which headlined Ice Station
Zebra (imdb reports it was released in 1968). One of the
other movies featured a close-up of an eyeball with
attached nerves floating in a glass (or beaker). Other
than recalling this scene really, really bothered me, I
can't remember anything else about this film.

Not sure of the exact title, but I know which one you're referring to. It was one of the Frankenstein films made by Hammer and starring Peter Cushing.....Possibly REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN?

Perhaps "X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes" starring Ray Milland?
