Any one know what Job Bob is up to these days? Is he still doing the Drive -in reviews? It just don't seen right not to be advised of how much "FU" you can view. Any way, movie hosts have a vital role to play in the bad movie world. it make the pain more more bearable, when you know your not alone. Same for B-Fest i'll wager.
YES ... Joe Bob is a fan of the Girdler site. He stays in touch, and he's got a great new website:
http://www.joebob-briggs.com/He was fired from Monstervision ... which is a good thing since they had him hosting "Adventures in Babysitting" toward the end.
Hee hee ... coincidentally, I just won Joe Bob's Find The Flick weekly web contest. Though it was an easy one, I gotta admit.
Again, let me say how much I adore Joe Bob. My introduction came when I rented his hosted version of Bad Girls Go To Hell in 1990 or 91 ... I was a college freshman. I was already steeped in bad movies, and he just summed up the video trash revolution so well at the time. His first Drive-In book became my bible.
Anyway, for my Find The Flick prize, I opted for a copy of "Duck! The Carbine High School Massacre." I never heard of it until Joe Bob reviewed it on his site recently.
Part of me died when Monstervision went off the air.
