The annual Blob-Fest in Pheonixville, Pa July 15th,16th, and 17th at the Colonial Theater where the audience actually came out of the theater was shot in the original film. They will be showing ROBOT MONSTER and THE BLOG on the big screen. Plus lots of other fun stuff. Sounds like a fun weekend, but I won't be able to make it. Is anyone planning on going?

THE BLOG? Is that the movie where a giant Dave Munger attacks unsuspecting citizens? (:
Speaking of Dave Munger I have not seen him post in awhile.

Do you suppose that we need to post a Dave Munger tribute? (:
Sure Menard...get more people coming after you.
Wow, I saw the typo, and I saw Menard was the first to reply, and I just knew what his post would say before opened it. Think I'm psychic?
The Blog sounds like a really long movie that rambles on and on in no particular direction. Can't say that would work. Mind you, even The Trial of Billy Jack has fans.
Speaking of the Blob, however, there was something I had meant to post for some time. It's an anti-smoking ad I see on TV from time to time, in which these sort of amorphous concentric smoke rings travel from a smoker to the children in the house, and form a bullseye. It just looked so familiar, then I realized where I'd seen something just like it. Now, when it plays, I sing "it creeps...and leaps....and glides and slides across the floor..." Makes my wife laugh.
Whoa, cool, people think about me when I'm not around. Got a day job, I'm trying to see if I can keep my old night job too. I think the new job will probably get easier after I've been doing it for awhile, right now it's a little rough trying to learn everything all at once. So on the days that I DO manage to check the board out, I'll probably be all pent up and have a little something to say about EVERYTHING.
this festival will be ....incredible
